Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (Advanced) – University of Sydney
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) – University of Sydney
Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Neurosurgery)
After growing up in Wellington and Sydney, I attended the University of Sydney where I completed a science degree, followed by medical school which I graduated with honours. My neurosurgical training took place at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospitals, St George Hospital, John Hunter Hospital and Wellington Hospital.
I spent my fellowship year at Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom. There I undertook sub-specialty training in the areas I am most interested in, skull base and cerebrovascular surgery. I also taught junior neurosurgeons clinical and operative skills while in the UK.
I am a fully trained spine surgeon, with experience treating trauma, degenerative conditions, tumours, vascular malformations and infection.

Outside neurosurgery, I spend most of my time with my young family. I enjoy the outdoors and am a keen mountaineer.
